VT Data Privacy Project is a public intervention that brings attention to data privacy and digital security through events, installations, and activities.

The project explores the question of “What do we know about our data? and invites Vermont residents to explore how their digital and non-digital data is collected and used to impact them. Many people are either partially or totally unaware of how the Internet functions, and may be vulnerable to toxic elements like hacking, data mining, and fake news.

The information provided in this project is not necessarily new, but it’s presented in a way that’s more digestible for those of us who don’t usually deal in data.
